Ratty, I've found Tamiyas greys are notorious for that kind of behaviour.  I haven't figured out a way to make em behave yet, so I'm interested in how you get on.  Thank goodness for xtracrylix and the late lamented Aeromaster I say.

I have been reading your posts and I know exactly how you feel.

Last night I was finishing off my Night Maus tank (pics to come) and I was moving it from my spray booth to my desk when the part I was holding fell off and the model decided to give me a graphic display of the power of gravity.

The treads broke and several other parts came off. I have since repaired it but  things like this test your patience.

The key is to keep at it and don't let it grind you down.

I'm seriously thinking of saying 'screw it' and picking up a rattle can of the colour I want. It will of course be meticulously tested for quality first, perhaps with a few sprays on that annoying fuzzy bunny neighbour's car!!!

Okay officer, I'll come quietly.

Thanks for the support, and take heart, if it gets too buggered you can convert it into a Panzerpapstwagen!
