Hehehe, none of the above so far.  ;D

All will be revealed once I've got the main assembly done, and that's moving swiftly on now. (Did you see what I did there?  ;)  Don't blame me, Hazel asked me if it was going 'swiftly' this morning.  ;D )

The cockpit/nose wheel and intake assembly is all in position, as is the jet pipe and afterburner, and I've glued up the two fuselage halves. The wing's pretty well complete too, just the aerial's left off deliberately as it's fragile.

It needs a little PSR, specially along the dorsal fin, and my Swift F10 had the same problem too. One problem that the F10 didn't have, because it had a very heavy resin nose from an F7 grafted onto it, is the perennial Swift problem of being a tail sitter. Not quite as bad as all Canberra models, but not far off. There's so much stuff crammed into the nose with the cockpit and nose wheel bay all assembled in one piece, plus the intake trunking as well, means there's naff all room for nose weight, and Aifix don't even mention it in the instructions!

I thought I had some De Luxe Liquid Gravity somewhere, but I can't find it, so a couple of M8 nuts had to do, but cramming them into the intake trunking required much surgery on the trunking itself, but at least it'll stay on its nosewheel now.

I've got the backstory all figured out, and even found a possible serial number for it too, and with luck I can make that serial with the bits and bobs from the kit decal sheet, or at least print them from a scan of the sheet anyway.

Not bad progress on the first day I reckon.  ;D

If you want to add more weight, you might be able to squeeze something between the intake trunking and the fuselage walls. I can't remember doing that in any of my builds though.

Automatic Transmission?
Abomination Technology?
Alan Turing/Arthur Tedder variant?

It's OK, the two M8 nuts were heavy enough. There's no space all between the trunking and the fuselage walls, at least none you could get to anyway.

I'm amazed that manufacturers design trike undercarriage models that are almost impossible to stand properly because you can't get enough nose weight in them.

Nope, none of them either.  ;D

I've just glued the wings on now, more tomorrow.

Wait! I have it! It's typo! It should actually be the Supermarine Swift FA.5(RT)
