Cheap storage at Ikea

I was in Ikea today and noticed that they have the long-running Moppe 6-multi-size drawer wooden cabinets discounted from £25 to £15.

I inherited one of these from my uncle, and I find it perfect for storing aftermarket decal sheets. Big ones fit in the bottom drawer, smaller ones in the two middle drawers and cut-up left-overs go in one of the top ones, with the other two free for other stuff. It keeps the light off them, but lets them breath. The units are raw pine, so you can paint or stain them any colour you like.

The website doesn't show the discount: it's just in the store. That means it might not be in every branch: I was in the Manchester (Ashton) one.
They do another unit with 6 of the small drawers, but as far as I could see, they weren't discounted.

These are great!  I use them all the time.

ALDI have got those 30ltr under bed storage bosses in for £3.29 each.  That's an absolute steal.

If you've got room for them then yeah - that's a terrific price.

Ive no room under the bed for the underbed storage boxes but, I got 5 big 60 litre plastic storage boxes on Amazon for £37.95. They are big enough to store most of my unbuilt kits which, I store unboxed. The kit boxes take up too much space. The storage boxes are stacked easily in my hall cupboard. I  use the multi drawer units shown earlier as my spare parts boxes

Not quoting a bargain here but i have found the Really Useful 50l storage boxes fit under the bed nicely, extra storage of 20l is quite a few kits extra or other stuff of course.
And having a one bedroom flat you can imagine space is a bit premium.
I personally prefer these over the 30l boxes despite the higher price and at the moment they can be found on Argos for £13.60 instead of rrp of £17 each.
They will definitely outlast the cheaper boxes, especially if you use them for stacking, the old adage buy cheap, buy twice (or more) would definitely apply.

Yeah Really Useful boxes are good stuff. I use stacks of 9 litre & 4 litre ones to store my finished models and take then to shows.
