Cheap folding trolley at Aldi

They're very useful in workshops and hobby rooms. There's enough space to stand spray cans on the shelves and the deep edges stop them from falling over. These are (as far as I can tell) very similar to the ones that Hobbycraft have been selling for ages, however Aldi are selling them for either £13 on the in-store leaflet or £15 on the website (not sure what's going on there...), including a topper (lid/worktop) and a set of hooks. Hobbycraft want £25 for them, and you have to buy the topper separately for another £7.

My daughter got me something very much like that for Christmas. It was from Target here in the US. The only difference I can tell is mine came in black without a top or hooks. Although the hooks would be easy to make.

The Aldi ones come in black, grey or green.

There's a variety of similar but different designs on the market. Sizes vary, and some have a handle at one end. That means you have to be careful when buying accessories from a different supplier, especially toppers.

I've already set my red mini toolbox in the top shelf so a topper won't work anymore. But that's ok, if I change things around I can make one quick enough. There was a toolbox company the sold all kinds of extra shelf items and screwdriver holders with magnets to stick to the main toolbox. I may look for that again if I remember the next time I go hardware shopping.
Hmmmm....... I just thought about how hard it would be to make a shelf to hold the two mini toolboxes on the ends.

Yes Hobbycraft in the UK sell a range of accessories, but most of them are too specific to one craft (like paper roll holders) to interest me. I did buy a topper, only to find that it didn't fit the trolley I bought from them years before because the current one is smaller...   Fortunately it fits cross-ways on the top so I still get some use out of it.

If anyone fancies one of those folding four-wheeled camping trolleys, like Martin uses for getting his stuff into and out of shows, then Aldi are going to have them in stock on 22mar26 for £40.

That's a good price: they normally retail for about twice that.
