I built this whilst fighting with the poor fit on the Fujimi RF-4 I have been building. It all went together quite well considering, so I am happy in the that department. The sea fury bit is the PM kit, bought on a whim, and had no idea what to do with it, the engine and prop is from the spares box. I painted it in service on the middle East, somewhere.

The engine & prop look like fugitives from the old FROG Shackleton Mk 3 kit, what with the contra-prop etc.  Looks really good on the Sea Fury and you could just see them doing that for real too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

That is exactly where the engine and prop came from Kit. It does kinda work, in a rough and basic way. Now that I have a spare fury engine cowl and prop looking for a new home, I think I will have to look for a cheap Fiesler torch kit to stick them on, just to bait that hook.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thankyou everyone, I quite enjoyed building this, as for a change I didn't struggle with it. Wish I could say the same about the Fujimi RF-4, I am building.

The nose looks a little like that of the Griffon engined Hawker Tempest Mk.III prototype.
... perhaps not all that pretty but there must have been reasons for building it like that.
