More submarines with Nazi technology made it through than in the real world.  And a flight of long range aircraft made it to Mongolia with more drawings, models tooling and an SS Obergruppenfuhrer who turned out to be very good project manager... Jet engines got a little bit of a jump and were especially valued by the Imperial Japanese Army and Navy since they could burn coal oil, leaving more Avgas  for the few remaining experienced pilots flying first rate machines kept in reserve and wave after wave of Kamikaze attacks.  The Mitsuoka H1/D338  was a modified German design built in widely dispersed factories in Manchkuo.  Originally built with radar, remote sighting turrets armed with the finally effective HO-301 autocannon, and internal  internal weapons bays in the wings, the final few built were dedicated Kamikaze aircraft with minimal equipment and aluminum replaced with steel and wood wherever possible.  With all four jets burning, they had the speed and payload to potentially take out a capital ship or carrier.  Allied reporting code "Helga" was seldom seen during Operation Downfall, probably a fortunate turn of events.  This pristine example was  found post war in a bunker on Lake Ashi waiting for a crew that never arrived. Evaluated by the Allied Air Intelligence Unit, Japan Home Islands in 1946-1947 it was eventually scrapped.

Ok, folks.  In the immortal words of Porky Pig, "That's all folks!"  The thread is locked, and I'll try to get the vote up in the next couple of days.
