London and South East shows 2026

While at the Banstead Model Show on Saturday I picked up a few flyers for other small shows:

Welling - Saturday 11th April
Falconwood Community Centre, DA16 2PG

South Downs Worthing - Saturday 25th April
Bohunt School, Broadwater Road, BN15 8AH

Shepway Military Model Society - Saturday 13th June
Hawkinge Community Centre, CT18 7FP

Eastbourne - Saturday 4th July
Eastbourne Sports Park, BN21 2UF

Table booked for the South Downs show.

Will try and get to the Eastbourne show (close to hols, though).

Before that (7 March) there's Aldingbourne ModelEx (Aldingbourne Community Sports Centre Olivers Meadow, Westergate, Chichester, PO20 3YA) which is just up the road from me. Planning on going.

The Tangmere show (https://www.keymodelworld.com/events/tangmere-ipms-scale-model-show) is at the end of May but I'll be giving that a miss.

Checked dates and public transport proximity, and :-

Welling looks a doer. Train from Cannon St or New Cross

I've already got South Downs in the diary.

Shepway's in the middle of a very busy month, so won't be able to do.

Eastbourne show appears to be near Hampden Park (Sussex

), so possibly a doer

Interesting that they are all Saturday shows, which tend to be better for public transport, than the usual Sunday.

Let's keep in touch regarding the Eastbourne show, Chris. If I do go it'll probably be by car so I can collect/drop off at the station.

I will also try for the Eastbourne show as my diary is clear then. Obviously I will have to confirm nearer the time.

I doubt I will get to Worthing this year as it clashes with the new show at the NEC.
As it stands I will be at the Scots show in Perth the weekend before. After that I plan on a week of walking the mountains. On the way south I want to stop in at the NEC.

I noticed that clash as well, shame.

As for the mountains. Why not take a stroll down the Pennine Way ?
