Is it just me or is there a BV-155 vibe going on with this 🤔
Or have I not had enough coffee yet for the brain to start clicking in its proper firing order 😳 😊

There are indeed a lot of Bv 155 vibe going on. Messerschmitt Werke did start a high altitude fighter project: Me 155. It was intended to counter the B-29, which Luftwaffe expected to appear over Germany eventually. But the development went rather slowly forward, as the Me 262 took most of the design departments resources. So the project was transfered to Blohm & Voss, where it was called Bv 155, and ended up quite different from the original Messerschmitt project.
