There's always David Drake's "powerguns" from the Hammer's Slammers series.

Ooh yes - forgot about them...

Scotaidh

I shamelessly 'borrowed' those for my Coolie class hover tank.  Never mind the main gun, I had two different gatlings in the turret as co-axials - one in 20mm for soft-skin vehicular targets and one in 5mm for foot traffic targets ...

Sorry for the blur, but this was just to show the coaxials

And, of course, the 20mm tri-barrel cupola gun

Yes, I know it's over-kill, but better over than under.

Spares bin.  I reckon we all have a couple of them, not to mention M2s and a Dashika or two - no?

I had to look up "Hammer's Slammers" and found that they look a lot like Imperial Grav Tanks from Traveller

Which is because the Traveller tanks are based on Drake's. The first Hammer story was published in 1974.

Offtopic but might be good for a chuckle... One of the latest litter of squirrel pups in my yard has a marking over his right eye that looks like Groucho Marx's eyebrows. Guess what we named him?
