I had thought of doing that as well, but didn't because I was worried it would make them too obvious and not look like rain anymore, which would be impossible to correct without a complete repaint.

Quote from: Weaver on August 28, 2025, 04:59:17 AMThere's something about the Char B1 that's very attractive, isn't there? Even with it's long list of known faults and indifferent combat record, it still seems kinda rakish, like a WWI tank designed by Ferrari... ;D
I think that's because the hull front is angled to the rear instead of the whole front of the tank leaning forward. The same reason that the Schneider is the best-looking least-bad–looking tank of the First World War :)

Quote from: PR19_Kit on August 28, 2025, 01:03:09 PMThat's what wet things DO look like.  ;D
The thing with making models is that making them look just like the real thing is often a matter of not doing it like on the real thing :)

But if they are whifs then there is no real thing for them to look like... :o

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.  Revelling in numptytism.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed, badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry.

I was, of course, speaking in general rather than about what-if models specifically :)
