Evening all.

I'm looking for a 1/72 Heller or Airfix Javelin to turn in a thin wing version to add to my Cold War Whif collection.  Whilst I'll obviously have a look round at the Coventry show this Sunday and at other shows, and @Thorvic has steered me towards
KingKit and others, I wondered if anyone has one they're prepared to part with in exchange for folding stuff?  It needn't be an unmade kit: I'd be happy to convert a made one if required.

TVM.

Agggghhhh, if I'd known this 36 hrs ago I could have brought one with me from home and given it to you at Cov.

I think I've got three of them in The Loft, an FAW(9) and a couple of T3s. In the medium term you'd be welcome to one of them, but it'll have to wait till I'm at home again.

None of that folding stuff needs be involved.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thank you Kit - that's very kind of you    Happy to wait and I don't mind what mark or manufacturer it is: whichever you are happy to pass over / closest to hand.  I'm intending to be at the Thornbury Show in early August if that works?

Thanks again.

It certainly does work Domonic, if only because I could SEE the venue from my front door if there weren't any trees in the way!

Ok, so there is a damn great river there too, but it's one show I never miss.  ;D

I can help here with a FAW9/9R as I have discovered I have three.

See you Sunday.

I have the same plan. Coventry seems very humid today.  The forecast for Sunday is mixed.
