Two seat Mig-28 (kinda a what-if???)

So wanted a nice simple OOB build after the JASDF Viper Zero so pulled this Dream 1/72 Mig-28 (aka VFC-13 F-5F) off the stash. Quick and easy build, took about 2 weeks, which is close to a record for me. Came together really nice, just had a minor issue with the decals but that was mostly on me. I think I finally figured what I'd been doing wrong with the Vallejo Acrylic varnishes, so I hopefully got that dialed in going forward. This is my second Navy aggressor (the other is a HobbyBoss F-5E). I've got two more planned that are true what-if's.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Is it just me getting the 'Top Gun' vibe?

Definitely not Rick, I've had 'You've lost that loving feeling' going through my head since Harry posted the pics of it.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

So as I understand it after the movie came out the Navy would usually paint at least one of their F-5 aggressors in that iconic black "Mig-28" scheme.  Hey I guess it's good marketing  ;D .

Though apparently they will fine any pilot that quotes from the movie, over the radio at least... standards, you know.

Kit - thanks, now I've got that particular earworm too... but there are worse...
Though my internal playlist usually defaults to 'Danger Zone'...  ;D
