Oooh I dunno'. There's LOTS of strange size Concordes about in all sorts of scales and fictional airline schemes. You could get lucky.

The proposed Yak-39 caught my imagination V/STOL  maritime attack and ground attack, a kitbash using the Yak-38 and the Jaguar. I've always wanted to see a V/STOL Jaguar and they do look as though they should have collaborated.

Likewise the Tornado F.3 and the Yak-141  another kitbash.

The il-38N May, there's a 1/72 model  kit Amodels which is a bit expensive but maybe a kitbashed DC-6B with turboprops and a reworked tail fin. Or use the Sanger vacform kit instead for half the price.

A kitbash using the Boeing Stratoliner and B-47 would be an interesting whiff. This is based on the concept artwork of Boeing.
The drawing looks as though the wings and tail are from a B-52 but the engine layout is a reversed B-47.
Model 473-29B is very similar but keeps the B-47 cockpit canopy. I will use the B-47 landing gear which will be housed in the C-97/Stratoliner. I don't think that there will be much of the
B-47 left when I complete the initial build. I can use the coach seating from a 00 gauge carriage.
The C-97 wings will probably be used for a future project along with the engines.

I've always thought that there should have been an attack version of the Vought F-8 Crusader, no not the LTV  A-7 Corsair II. There is the Vought V-463 model that looks as it could have been the concept for the A-7. Maybe just change the wings on two models 🤔

What-if the turret fighter was developed further - so my warped imagination envisages a Defiantesque Typhoon. And then what to do with the rest of the Defiant? Well the Schrage Musik upward firing guns was first developed in WW1 by both the British and the French to counter the Zeppelin threat. So What-if someone at the RAE remembered that and put it on a Defiant?

Both ideas sound very plausible, and the Defiant's turret should be a much easier fit in a larger Typhoon than in another single seaters of the period.

I tried to fit one to a Hurricane once, and the bits are still hanging about, NOT fitting each other. :(

I've got half a dozen 1/144 Academy B-47s to play with. Colour schemes for B-47s were mostly pretty boring so, I've pondering a few alternatives ;

B-47E in RAAF markings. I believe The type was suggested as an interim pending delivery of the much delayed F-111
RB-47H in RAF markings
RB-47H in south east Asia camouflage for a Vietnam deployment
B-47E in  that gorgeous "raspberry ripple" scheme
Four engined version using spare twin engine pods salvaged from a B-52D (I believe there was an actual four engined version designated B-56 proposed)

As a concession to the original operator, I'll keep the B-47B in its original N M finish. It's a nice model but, one fairly big (personal opinion) issue. The wings are moulded as if in flying mode and, they lack the characteristic droop of the B-47 on the ground. It's not insurmountable but, I'd rather not have to modify six sets of wings................! C'est la vie ;D
