I think that I could have ago at altering a 1/32 Austin 3 litre 3D printed body shell( slot car conversion) into the Bentley Bengal by using a diecast model car or something in a similar scale.
I don't know why Austin didn't use the AD061 as the platform and have the boys from Kingston work their magic as the photos that I have seen show those doors and pillars carried over from the the 1800/2200. The Austin 3 litre face should have some resemblance to the previous model which I think I could change.
How can something that big have a smaller interior space and be slower with a straight six 3 litre engine. Was it the same engine as the one used in the MGC?
I don't have the skills to alter the hood/bonnet, maybe PSR but two or three alternatives would make an interesting project.

The ADO61 only looked like the ADO17, the structure was very different, but it did use the same doors, like the ADO14 Maxi.

They were a lot heavier because of the longer boot and engine compartment, and the collapsible structure forward of the firewall was more complex too because of the longitudinal engine/gearbox. There was a little less room than the ADO17 inside because the seats were much thicker, it was only sold in the De Luxe versions.

The engine was basically the same as the MGC engine, but had a seven bearing crankshaft, which also made it heavier, but it was very tough.

They were lovely to drive, like floating along, because of the self levelling version of the Hydrolastic suspension that they used.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
