Thanks.  However I still don't know what to call it (F5L or F20F).   As to the underwing stores, those are the only places that make sense.  B)

I think F-20F sounds better, as it's really quite far from being a -5 !

Looking forward to more piccies, and are you putting her in the ARC group build ?

Cheers !

Can't put the F-20F into the ARC build, you see- that build doesn't start for another month or so, and my model is nearly completed!

Poke around in that SVSM site.  If it is weird or Venezuelan, it is most likely mine.  You ought to be able to find (the what-ifs? at least): A yellow racer with forward swept wings and twin tails called RIDE ON SHOOTING STAR (Album: SVSM Club Meeting March 2004, pg. 1), a blue racer based on the Shinden called TEKA MAKI (Album: SVSM Club Meeting March 2004, pg. 1), an OSPREY in RAF camouflage (Album: SVSM Club Meeting April 2004, pg. 1), a Venezuelan F-20 Tigershark (Album: SVSM Club Meeting November 2004, pg. 2), A Blue Angels schemed F-23 Black Widow (Album: SVSM Club Meeting June 2004, pg. 1) and in the near future a Horten HO-229A-1 in JAAF markings.

Heh, if anyone cares to see what Japanese artists think of arming the X-29, consider the version from the Area 88 manga as shown here.  I understand that some years ago Hasegawa did a Japan-only 1/72 version of this from their X-29, man, I'd love to get ahold of one of those.

Not true, it started 1 week ago.  As for being nearly completed, to hell with that.  I'm modding that GB and I say its OK!     Post her over in the F-5 GB forum, preferably with other in-progress shots  :tornado:

Okay, I will send link to the image once it is completed and weathered. Interesting, the reaction I got.

Well I'm not really a fan of the F5/F20/X29 family, but I'm starting to change my mind after seeing these

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

That one is not mine, but it is by a friend in the club.  We do have a small cadre of "what-if?" types.  Hoping to convert more.

I gotta get with the program.  I totally missed this one.  That's pretty sweet.  I'm not sure I dig the coke-bottle wing tanks, but what the hell.  Can't wait to see it all painted up.
