I got some of the above decals for my EE Dalgety project, and they're the 'no decal film' type which are meant to be the business. The instructions say to soak them for 1-2 seconds and wait for 10-20 seconds before sliding them off on to the model. They also say they 'might' curl a bit and need attaching with Tamiya decal adhesive, which I've never heard of.

Well, NONE of the above happens, apart from the curling!  :banghead:

It took AGES for the superbly printed decal to come loose from the backing paper and it was, as they stated, pretty fragile, and sure enough it curled up at the edges. My solution was to spray that part of the model with my Keen Kristal Clear varnish and tap it down a bit, which worked a treat.

Anyone else tried these type of decals with any success? My own printed ones come off the backing paper in 10-15 seconds, to sweat!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
