Money in the bank then.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Just stumbled across this Bristol Type 138 Whif in US markings.
Don't let ageing get you down, it's too hard to get back up

A 138 in USAAC or USN/USMC '30s "yellow wing" livery be neat.

For a USAAC machine it would look good with either the light blue or the gloss dark olive drab fuselage.

USMC would be more likely than
USN, unless of course one wants
to do a 138 with folding wings.

What would it's use case be? High altitude photo reconnaissance or would the wings be modified to house extra fuel tanks, turning it into a long range torpedo bomber.

I'd love to see one with a wing folding mechanism though  ;D

It'd need a wing fold like a Gannet, with wings THAT long!   :o

Long range reconnaissance with a
500' long trailing antenna. Fleet spotting rather than photo recon.
