What did you use for the wire? I need to string one for my C.714 and I'm thinking of using stretched sprue... but I'm open to stealing good ideas elsewhere. ;)
Stretched sprue probably IS your best bet granted you know how to do it well. (I assume that you do!)  That said, this tiny gauge wire is prevalent in things like old headphones and such. They make it so tiny so that it will "fit" into tiny conduit and spaces and it works great. Some of it is easily thinner and more wispy than human hair. The problem that arises is in trying to paint it. The wire I used on this plane came from a PS3 headset that was no longer worth using. Other things like speaker wire, etc... provide tons of it. It's all about finding the right gauge I guess... when you find copper wire that you can simply pull apart and it snaps then you are in the money.  ;D ;D

Thank you! My camera tried to assassinate said colors but I resurrected them with some photo correction. I managed to get my top three favorite colors on this one.   ;D ;D  I love "whif-world" because I get to be greedy and make things how I want them.

Now that I think of it, I just started one that will have the same three, although the blue will be darker.

EDIT: Fixed the missing picture above. Not sure what I screwed up but I fixed it and that's all that counts I guess.  LOL

Great stuff, Brad! That looks very good! Would that be Van Helsing's plane? ;)

Thanks dude!  I think that is the second time someone mentioned Van Helsing. I've definitely heard of the name but not much more. I guess it's time to have a look.  ;D

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Thanks, O-Dub! I think I do, too. The colors are much more inline with what I find appealing for sure.

Ahh thanks for the link up Fred..  See there's one problem, I've never read or even seen the classics. I SHOULD know who Van Helsing is by now.

I'd have to say yes... this could well be Van Helsing flying in here although he might be pretty damn old by then.  ;D ;D ;D

Thank you! The idea struck as I was half asleep.  Gotta love it.  That sometimes is how I invent things that will make millions of dollars, too, but I always seem to forget THOSE ideas. . . .   :D

Don't forget that working for the Vatican would've given Van Helsing some kind of divine protection... maybe a special kind of holy water, or water from a fountain of youth so he could keep up with the Sucker's immortality till he was really dead again...  ;D remember the movie Indiana Jones the last crusade?
Just say that Van Helsing had the carpenter's cup with him as a tool of the trade... just in case he had to replenish blood levels in his body after some casual battle with the Vampirettes...
