Nice. I went and looked on youtube to get away from the obligatory 30 second ads  :banghead:

I couldn't get any video links on the first one, and no sound on the second.  :banghead:

Nice to see PL965 in the second one, that's the blue PRXI coded 'R', the only flying PRXI in the world.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

and quite a few of the pilots are still around, including one bloke who shot down 5 confirmed in one day and received the DFC and another DFC the next month, if the article on the net is to be believed
lots of those old pilots look pretty well even at an advanced age and still don't appear to need glasses!

I was fascinated that there was an example of the prototype on display. Looked a very deep sky blue to me  ;D Bet that got the colour police arguing

Was that the one that usually lives at the Tangmere Museum? It's not that far away of course.

I saw that one just before I retired, sometime in 2007, and I thought it looked over-dark too, but it was inside there.

They did a few passes this weekend over Parliamnet here. So far it looked like a Lance flanked by P-40, Hurricane, Mustang and Spitfire, a helo formation of Chinook and a pair of Griffons, a Ploaris and 2 Hornets, and the Snowbirds. I saw a video on FB but it was kinda crappy. I'll look for a better report.
