All,
I picked up two of the Aeroclub conversion sets for this kit to make an Argentinian version from the Falklands and an Australian version from Vietnam.

Anybody have one or two in their stash that they need to get rid of?

Like the PR9s, they seem to have vanished from the planet somehow.  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Pretty sure I have one in the stash. Not sure what shipping is like to the States anymore. Might be able to smuggle it across and mail it from there tho

Hey CC,
What part of Canada are you in?  If Alberta, I could maybe meet you up there (Lethbridge is straight up I-15 about 11 hours but could maybe do that when it warms up a little in that direction).

Hi Phil

I have a spare one I picked up at the Bolton Show last month, but that would require shipping from the UK

Thanks Geoff.

Let me see what CC can do and I have another guy over at UAMF who might be able to help me out who is also in Canada.

If nothing else, shipping might not be too bad.

Phil, I think one of my local LHS's have the if you're still looking. I'll check.

Thanks.

I did trade for one but ended up with the original issue kit instead of the newest version.  It does have the Aussie markings and the conversion set is supposed to work so should be ok but really want the newer kit.

I didn't know there were newer and older versions, what's the difference between them?

Phil means the original Airfix B6 Canberra with the odd shaped nose.

Hm, OK. The original had the clear bomb aimer's dome too big IIRC, is that the one?

Yep Kit, that is the one.  The Aeroclub nose takes care of that issue but still have the raised lines, less details, etc.

Hi Philip

Managed to snag another new Airfix Canberra Bi-8 from a stall at yesterdays Cosford Show.

Let us know if you want it ?

Cheers

Apologies for barging in but I have an NKR Models Canberra B.20 conversion kit that I've had for several years, part of a collection I bought. Package is still sealed so not quite sure what it contains but looks like a different canopy and a fuselage part. Packaging says "requires a 1/72 scale kit of the canberra"

If any one wants it let me know - no charge.
