Last of the year for me, a quick and dirty build

Boeing Australia wanted to build the v-22 Osprey under licence in Australia. The Australian government didn't envisage the Osprey eggbeater in their future military plans and so convinced Boeing to come up with a new short haul military transport.  Boeing, with a lot of Osprey airframes on their hands came up with the goods....











Kit is the horrible 1/72 HobbyCraft v-22 Osprey, the engines from the Revell E-3A Sentry in 1/144th scale.

What a nifty design! Just perfect for our troop transport needs. Strikes me as an SAS machine.

Reminds me I have an Italeri one I did years back that's had damage to/lost its blades....
