Hi

Last week i picked up a 1/144 Tu 22 out of my local hobby shop's bargain bin.  I know it had been sitting there for at least a year and thought 'what the hell'. I first thought it had kitbashing potential. But once i opened it up, it seemed the only thing wrong with it was box damage (but not 100% sure if there are missing pieces - bag was punctured and i havent opened it further) and it seemed, frankly, a very nice model.

well made and tidy, the kit is from a brand i have never heard of called 'Sunny'

It seems a shame to break it up for other purposes but i am really not sure i want to make a Backfire myself.  Does anyone know anything about this brand 'Sunny' and whether or not thered would be much interest in putting it up for sale online?

Can you throw a pic on here?  I might be interested in it, but I'd have to see a pic first.

Ok, sure. but that might take a little while.

I've got the Sunny Tri-S Tu-26 Backfire in 1/144.  I can snap a digital and upload it tomorrow.

according to this list:
http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Shire/3680/russian144/russian2.htm

"A decent kit that has been boxed by Sunny, Revell, AMT and probably others that builds into a good looking model.  Revell boxing may include markings for a Naval Aviation aircraft.  12 Squared produced a conversion set to make an M3."
