yep the Hurricane is real, an ex yugolsav bird captured and tested by the Italians.

I think that Do335B-2 based nightfighter concept is the coolest looking LW46 Whiff ever.  I actually had one plus the Paragon set and sold it off because I knew I'd NEVER build it to completion.  But the combo of the armored windscreen, big cannon fairings, and radar is very cool indeed.  I actually intended to do mine with a podded radar scanner (like the F6F-5N or F4U-5N), since that would have been the next logical development for the Germans after the stag horn type antennas.

Hmm, I'd use a modified twin-nacelle from an Ar-234C for that center one and, structurally, I think I'd go for a constant chord configuration of some kind.
