The UK National Archive at Kew has just released some on-line documents that may be of interest to some.

Second World War Air Combat Reports, Details of the service records of 20,000 Air Force Personel and and you can also now find details of UK, Comonwealth and US units based in the UK during WWII.

You may have to be a registered "reader" (which I am) to gain access but I thought it might be of interest to some

And for whif purposes, there are files from 1972 online relating to selling the Buccaneer, SHAR & Jaguar to Egypt...

Just log on to the National Archives site - I'm not sure if you need to be registered to browse on line (you do to visit, which is well worth it if only to see an efficient Govt department in action !), but browsing is free, downloading has a small charge
