Hi folks,

In my thread about DSEi I briefly mentioned the concept by Tigerfish Aviation for converting just about any aircraft to a float plane - here are some more images from them:

*EDIT* Mods, I meant to put this in "General Modeling topics" - would someone be kind enough to move it please.

Interesting pictures, Greg:

Something like this maybe?

I started to build this some time ago but I've not been able to finish it as it's packed away somewhere in my shipping container.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

If you can retract the floats so that they're flush with the underside of the aircraft and you can apply appropriate shaping and materials, it'd be "challenging" but not, IMHO, impossible to do so and retain the RCS.

Thinks:  Hmm, a scaled up shape based on the air-launched TSSAM lnes would be a good place to start for the floats.
