Hi Gang,

Here's a request that someone out there might be able to help with.  I'm somewhat stymied on my SM.79 profiles at the moment due to the lack of detailed ORBATs (Order of Battle) for the minor Air Forces of the pre-WW2 and WW2 period.  This is also in addition to a request for a Brazillian He-111.  I've gone over the many sites that I regularly trawl for this info and have come up rather dry.  Sometimes it's just a name, othertimes a mention and little else.

If anyone has any detailed info (Units, Bases, Titles, etc) on these Air Forces, I'd be very appreciative of a link or whatever.

Thanks in Anticipation.

What nations more specific?

Have you checked Niehorster?

Maverick

I've checked Niehorster, but unfortunately his link for the Bulgarian AF is inactive for whatever reason.  This is a sticking point for my next profile.  In addition, his information regarding some others (eg Croatia) was quite vague.

Thanks for your thoughts anyway.

Have you tried Jason Long's

Strumvogel

on Axis and Neutral air forces?

Maverick

Thanks heaps for that site George.  Looks like a good resource for my Bulgarian SM.79 at the very least.  Much appreciated.  Now if I can get some info on the other minor powers, Axis, Neutral and Allied, I'll be a happy chappy.

See if you can get hold of a copy of "In the Sky's of Europe - Air Forces allied to the Lufwaffe". A good history and also deals with on individuals from many countries who served with the Lufwaffe as well.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
