Something similar was tried on Stuka's in WWII - wasn't proceeded with because of the psychological effect on the passengers  :blink:

haveing read what it says about the exint pods in the Avpro book, the thing was ment to be air dropable if needed, a nice big steerable para wing was part of the total package, as was a small outboard moter for use if the landing was on water. all very 007 by the sounds of it lol
