A few years back I made some fiberglass display models of a very large Lockheed hypersonic aircraft (CL-655-1-19) that could be used for either transport or space launch. Finally got around to posting some progress and completed model shots...

Hey that looks great!!

I've got the Revell 1/288 Sanger Spaceplane kit which is very similar, thinking of an RAF satellite launcher....

It would save the need for an equatorial launch base or an expensive waste of rockets.

At the cost of having to develop *very* exotic propulsion systems and fabulously expensive structures. Cool to look at, but not so cheap to develop.

I notice the name "Aurora" on the stand . Aurora as in "Bob Lazar" or Aurora as in "Universal monster kits" ?
