The Junkers Ju89 or the Dornier Do19 ???

What if the Luftwaffe had taken the plunge in 1935-39 and chosen in favor of a mixed heavy, long-range bomber, and smaller 'fast-bomber' designs to equip its new and ultra modern air force?

Out of the Junkers Ju-89 and the Dornier Do-19 long-range, heavy bombers, which design do you think would have merited entering further development and enter service with the Luftwaffe?

How do you think that RLM and the Luftwaffe, would have developed either the Do-19 or the Ju-89 further to make it a more effective bomber?
