Well, I for one DO like the idea of a turboprop BUFF. Why not wait until the Trumpeter 1/144 scale Tu comes out, it HAS to be less expensive than the  1/72 one...

I picked up the 144th Bear J @ Telford for £20 (RRP = £25).  IIRC the 1/72 RRP is about £70, so much cheaper, and a much more sensible scale

Funny, cos as I was cutting out and cleaning up the pieces on Saturday night I thought "I wonder how it would look with jet engines....."
