No Baztastic build this, just the Airfix kit OOB.  Was gunna be my second entry in the Airfix GB, but I'm not Anthony :(

Question - the CC-137 panels.  Red?  Orange?  Dayglo?

Looking good ! And it's red......you dirty bugger ! That was the scheme I was gonna do mine in ! But that's okay, I'll just steal your pics for my RCAF 2012, and do mine as a modern one.

Okay ?

BTW, where'd you get those decals from ?

RCAF Transport Command 2012 Group Build?  :P

And the decals are from J-BOT.  You pointed me in their direction in the first place!  :D

I was wondering if those were JBOT. I've got an order incoming from him myself, and was saving my coin for a 72nd scale CC-137 sheet, to do a real one.

I also think you need to read the WI Official Rules Section 4:20, where it clearly states-

"If two modelers are building the same aeroplane, at the same time, in the colours of the same Nation, then judgement shall fall to the side of the modeller from said Nation "

Hey, those are the rules, I don't make 'em up !

:P

I've been trying to think of how to do mine RAF...but it's already been done !

Nev, that's almost exactly the same as the one I'm about to start on, even got the same decal sheet!

the other one I want to do is an RAF Mk.5 with a pair of big RR turbofans (can't remember the name but the same as our TriStars) like the test aircraft

From any angle, that sure is one elegant-looking plane, isn't it?  Please keep the pics coming...

I think the VC10 was one of the most elegant lookign aitrliners ever.
