All we have to do now is figure out how to combine ALL the different bits into one Mega-Hunter airframe.  ;D ;)

Well if it's tandem AND side-by-side, that'd need a Prowler cockpit...EAFGA-69B anyone?

I was surprised by the title of this topic, speaking of "Tanden" Hunter. It seems a mistyping for Tandem, according to the source:
https://www.freightdogmodels.co.uk/featured/freightdog-1-72-hawker-p-1101-tandem-hunter-project-conversion.html

Harry Tanden was a shy and retiring aircraft draughtsman in the 1950's.  His initials appear on several Hunter conversion proposal documents and plans  and eventually as a recognition of his meticulous work, the P1101 trainer design became known as the Tanden Hunter.

Well, we could always try getting that past the JMNs that infest some shows!!

OR, if you could somehow get Enfield Armoury involved in the backstory, you could claim that it's a composite name like Bren, Sten, Aden or Rarden...

And why not? It may need a bit of a power boost though, a Thames perhaps?
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

So I've ordered me a couple of those "Harry Tanden"  ;D two seater Hunters from Colin, and I'm idly wondering if the nose from a Hunter P.1109B (Firestreak Hunter) would fit?
It's a thought.... Just need a back story. And a trial fit.

Regards
Keith

I'm ahead of you there, and it will with a bit of sawing and filing.    ;)

Funnily enough I had the same idea as well, just add the Supersonic wings.....

Well, I do have some preliminary sketches for an extended side-by-side seating trainer with a second cockpit behind the first.  Initial thought was as a TSR.2 crew trainer but I could see it as an "Admiral's Barge", too.

Sales of the P.1101 are pretty good, of the 60 cast up just before, MK show I'm down to less than 20 remaining. So if anyone wants one soon please an order please. I will be getting more done but CMR take around 6 weeks to process orders.

Thanks.
