There could be a whole mouse or rat or even spider civilisation hiding amongst your stash you realise?

Downunder, we just takem 'em as they come.  I got Possums in my stash.

No way, I send in search and destroy teams before I go up there. Better safe than sorry.  ;)

If a box the size of a 1/72 KC-135 can disappear the must be dmuch darker forces afoot...  The hat and avatar make sense now, going in Kits loft us a bit like the opening scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark!

It's more like the last scene, miles and miles of boxes stretching into the distance with just a few dim light tubes to guide the way.  ;D ;D ;D

My stash is OK being down in the shed but my reference library in the house has problems with Silverfish eating the paper.

Not seen the little silverfish since I left the UK, I think the atmosphere in Alberta is too dry for them to survive.  Are they a common problem down in Ozz ?

You know i'm not sure.  It's not something i've discussed with my friends and family.  They are certainly common in our house.  In addition to eating my books (cloves amongst the books discourages that) they get into the crockery drawers, can't get out and die.

I think they are fairly common downunder.  We have a huge Moth population in Australia.  In the southern states it is dark enough and cold enough and wet enough to encourage their growth in amongst our clothing and other belongings.   I've never had a problem with them in my library but they are sometimes amongst my clothing.   :banghead:

Silverfish were always a common feature of my grandparents houses when I was growing up. Haven't really seen them since. I think it was a case of them liking older, damp properties.

Has Ozz always had them, or did they get brought in from Europe in luggage etc ?

Spooky,  that's what I intend to do with my Heller 1/72 Boeing E-3A/C,  I know it's not the same model but the parts do fit as I have tried building one before resembling the VC 10 :banghead:

The KC-135A kit is still available on Ebay, but it's not cheap.
