Title: Modern Day FICON
Post by: GTX on May 04, 2006, 04:00:33 pm
Hi folks,

I was looking for something else and came across the following in my files - anyone have any information on these:

I also thought that since we have discussed the concept of a modern day ZELL, we might also like to discuss a modern day FICON.

Regards,

Greg

IIRC, that's a 1970s Boeing proposal for a manned "micro fighter" that would be launched and retrieved from a 747; I've got more on this _somewhere_

There was a good article on it in APR.  I'll see if I can find it.
