Well, here's the model I'm going to finish first for this group build. It just happens to be a copy of one of the prizes :lol: . It doesn't appear to be the same "vintage" as the prize, though (box design is different).
Found it on the bargain table at a local hobby shop. It was open, and the nosecone was already assembled, but there was still enough of it unbuilt to offer some fun. Still not sure what it's going to be when it's done.
The kit itself. I went ahead and began assembling it, and thought "Maybe I should take some pics of it."
Ah, memories! Never seen it in silver before though. I seem to remember sticking semi-recessed Sparrows (a la Phantom) on mine about 32 years ago!
The functioning revolving bomb bay lends itself to Rum Barrel delivery :lol:
I think the R.N. still had a rum ration when the Bucc went into service
