As a PR exercise, the Luftwaffe gave a squadron of He-111H-6 bombers to the Italian Air Force in the winter of 1941. It was thought the Italians would leave them as such but didn't expect them to be sent to the Cant factory. The aircraft in frame is one of three finished as Float-Plane bombers and based in Sicily. These aircraft were used in the destruction of Allied conveys and general Recon duties.
Luftwaffe models were also converted for this purpose and used in Norway and along the French coast.
Model : Crown He-111H-6/ Auster Antarctic floats.
Finished scale :1/144
