Welcome to the show

I finished the first round lucky , all parts came together perfect and i can use the original point for connection 😁 . At all there is not much need for putty , it's all flatt and smooth and in straight direction ,  i have shortened the fuselage by 40 mm ( wings not needed here ... ) .

This is the remain of the revell 1:144 Tupolev 95 which i slaughtered for the Heinkel America Bomber .

And i decide to cut that front radom also , i don't like that stuff and prefer the original clear design .

.... and today i fixed three axles together and the wheels, the fuselage is also in one piece, and i have placed some weight in the nose  .  So many little holes and details to close in the fuselage .

Very unique! It needs front and rear axle steering.

Ken those are WW2 German Sd.Kfz.231 8 rad wheels and suspension units which means this beast will have 6 wheel steering as the 8 rad was a 8x8 with steering on all axles

It's all there .
I have installed a steering wheel in the cockpit before closing the body !

Very promising Noizy.

Now, if it was my build i'd be looking at putting in two articulated sections into that fuselage.  Midway  between the wheel sets.
Think "Bendy Bus".

You'd just need to find some corrugated tube the same diameter as the fuselage.

Haha , I did so much work to put them together like one piece , so please excuse me if i IGNORE that idea  ...
The concept is a straight line high speed overlander

So if you turned all the wheels in one direction it could go sideways. Very handy in a cross wind!

Just a thought. How about some form of canopy on top to allow the passengers to view the beautiful landscape going by? The Amtrak passenger trains here call it the Vista Cruiser.

Yes, a Panorama window could be nice . But i am to lazy for more details , instead of that i glued the axles on . And let it dry in the sun .

Something like a Lancaster canopy?

(https://previews.123rf.com/images/whitestone/whitestone1008/whitestone100800004/7492510-farnborough-airshow-uk-july-24-2010-cockpit-detail-of-the-last-flying-ww2-lancaster-bomber.jpg)

Just my $0.02 worth. Of course then you would have to cut a hole in the top and build seats and stuff. Looks like you are beyond that point.

This is what I was thinking of.

The way Herr Noizer has the axles mounted you can have the center axle non steering and the front and rear as steering axles or with hydraulics instead of mechanical steering like the original vehicle you can have steering on all of the axles so you can crab steer  ;D

You could use decal windows, 1/144 scale airliner style.

Even without bendy bits it still looks awesome.
Is it going to be armed?  Maybe there are Tank Pirates out there in the wastelands?

I can visualise a number of these parked up in a circle for safety like a wagon train.

It is engined for speed and the tyres look like they are meant for dirt.

I'm wondering what kind of a road or track it runs on. Not too bumpy, for the speed, I'm thinking.

Siberia doesn't look all that smooth. Mountains, forests, rivers, wetland. And some of it has permafrost, or is at least covered with snow for long periods.

Herr Kilnoizer has not yet explained to us the after-market additions that he no doubt plans..........skis,  airstairs for boarding, crew and passengers and possibly even balloon tyres for summer marshland use

Haha , I took it out of the box last week and think about the possible finish. Missing THAT one good idea for the paint job  .
At the moment I prefer a washing technique , but it's difficult with with bigger objects like this , I should have a look on a retarder for the acryl paint .

And this is another project to finish this weekend, the landspeeder got a very vintage over all washing and color on the wheels! Looking for markings now.

You have a sharp eye for the Finish
In fact it is a lucky accident, doing experiments with that great Vallejo stuff ( washings ) and did a over all coating with marabo clear glossy just for the decals . It looks sooooo sleazy that i added more aging and effect painting with ULTRA MATT PU VARNISH just for the rusty parts .

Thank you very much for watching.

I just did some Back stories and print them on cards for the Weekend.
