I have had such a hard time finding a decent F/A-37 model to print in 1:48 scale that I decided to build my own from scratch. But since it's never going to be totally accurate anyway, I decided to make some changes while I was at it. The biggest differences are in the rear fuselage, where the cool but very weird exhaust is going away (replaced by a pair of 2D thrust vectoring nozzles), and the terrible intakes with splitter plates are getting replaced by diverterless supersonic intakes a-la-F-35. Also the tail will no longer fold down when the wings sweep forward. Here's what I have so far.
