This weekend I visited the Intermodellbau in Dortmund, Germany.
Although it is mainly geared towards model railways and RC, there is some "real' modelling going on as well.
Some impressions, enjoy!
Some nice figure modelling:

lovely shots Tom  a good mix of different types of modelling.
thank you for them,
A fascinating selection. Thank you!
Intermodellbau is the only show I've been to (once, a long time ago) that's bigger than SMW.
What a fantastic show that was. Thanks for posting Tom.
My fave was the 'ZZ Top' video being filmed, I could almost hear it..... ;D

It used to fill 8 halls (about 4-5 years ago). After Corona it went down to 5 halls, but it's still VERY large.

I see that at least the ethernal (enormous) D-Day beach diorama has been changed. The Cherbourg harbour is new.
I should have gone, had already the hotel reservations, but when I saw that the halls had been - again - reduced, got annoyed and deleted everything...
I'm not a ship person but that 72nd aircraft carrier was incredible..the amount of time and effort must have been staggering.
That brunt out Abrams was also pretty good to.
There's some great modeling going on there.
Thanks Tom for the pics..great stuff 👍 😀
Some extremely good modelling there, Tom!
Personal favourites are the "Sharp Dressed Man" (ZZ To) , the "How far to Roswell?" aliens fuelling at the Texaco &, just for the sheer scale of it, the "Cherbourg August 1944" dioramas.
I like the ratty Chrysler (300D?).
Good pics, thanks for sharing.
Great pictures Tom, thanks for sharing
Some great figures there. I particularly like the one of, I presume Napoleon III and Eugenie
