I've had various people saying the text is too small, too big. What do you think?
Option 1: Too big everywhere

Option 2: Too big in a specific place

Option 3: Its pretty much fine
votes: 15
Option 4: Too small in a specific place

Option 5: Too small everywhere

Lets get scientific about this.
If your answer is anything except "Its pretty much fine" I need to know
1) What device and browser
2) Specific details of what you would like bigger or smaller.

I liked it when you set it biggerer the first time. Now I just hit Ctrl+.....
Lets see the numbers and go with the majority!

Ditto
I'm on Chrome viewing the forum on my 15.6" laptop screen in 1920 x 1080 resolution scaled by Windows to 125%.
In Chrome, I have Ctrl - to 90% and that display looks just about right to me and feels like the old forum display size. That's just my $.02 and you can leave it where it is and Chrome will remember that I view it at 90%.
I hope that helps!
Given I have a 14" laptop with 3000 x 2000 resolution, set to 150% scale, I may not be the best judge.
FWIW Safari, iPadOS 15.6.1, iPad Pro (12.9'')
First image at 100%.
It's no biggy for me as I can easily scale up or down and the OS remembers my preference for a given webpage.

@joncarrfarrelly and do you find it too big, two small or just right size?
Trying to get a majority view.
I find the current size perfect, the original size of the upgrade was mildly annoyingly large but I could live with it.

Trying to get a majority view.
It works fine for me on iPad, IPhone and MacBook. It's easily scaled up or down if needed.
I view on an Apple MacBook or iPhone/iPad. No issues whatsoever with text size.
Pretty OK on Firefox / Windows 10.
If I go to 110%, the larger text in the posts is slightly better for me, but then the stuff under the posters' avatars starts taking too much space.

Exactly my view.

I've removed some stuff from the User profile bit in the post which makes it all look much better. Of course, someone will probably upset they can't see someone's Skype username or the number of posts they made any more.
What I don't like are the "HOME" and other menu pages.
They look too dispersive, and that colour used for the"NEW" icons is, IMO, ugly, as are the small clouds or whatever on the links.
This is my first post after the update. Strange font, what is it, Typewriter?
I use Firefox on an Windows 8 or 9 ASUS. And thanks for the tip about Ctrl+ or -. Never knew of it.
It's O.K. "as is" for me; after all, it's a local monitor/resolution thing, so I don't worry too much about the system's font size.
I set the zoom in my browser to a size so I have a good balance between readable and screen clutter.
No problem for me.....
TomZ
I find the original size of the main text a touch too small; a single point or pixel bigger makes a big difference.
On the other hand the fixed-pitch in the editor is a size too big.
So the mismatch is doubled - unpleasant when editing vs. previewing, and not fixable by zooming the browser.
Using Firefox on Linux, on a hi-res desktop monitor. I have reset the Firefox font size display settings, which helps with the main text but the editor insists on scaling up to remain two sizes bigger. Compare it with TomZ's post in the screenshot:
Okay.
Given the results so far, this is hopefully the last tweak. The post text is slightly increased and the editor text slightly decreased in size. One is specified as a size in points and the other is a percentage (frankly, the whole CSS code here is appallingly inconsistent) so its anyone's guess how that plays out across the various devices browsers and screen sizes
The results look good to me, and as many people want it bigger as want it smaller, so I don't see a clear mandate more more changes to font sizes
I've changed the NEW tag to a solid red colour rather than orange / brown gradient.

Better. It was a bit cluttered.
I seen no point in putting up how many posts each of us has made but I must admit I did like seeing at a glance where each person was claiming they were from.
One complaint. I don't like the font here in the quick reply window. Can you make it the same as the one used in the reply window and the quick edit window?

I agreed with that - done.
The editor looks better now, too.
This is pretty good, unless we get lots of votes for people wanting to see posters' locations.
