Hey !

I'm working on my Cove Class Patrol Carrier HMCS Pouch Cove, first of the fleet to enter service with the RCN. PE rails and ladders and stuff take alot longer than I thought !

Do all Canadians start dreaming of World Domination when Hockey is cancelled? Wasn't it said that "Hockey is the opiate of the Canucks"? Love the Carrier Todd damned if I'd wanna fiddle with that scale.
And completely O/T WTF is up with Alanis Miseryguts she became a U.S. citizen this week! WE DON'T WANT HER! Is this how the war starts? Is she an advance spy?

pretty much, Leigh !

We pawn off all of our 'talent' on you guys down there !

Too bad Celine wouldn't follow Shania tho, and head to a different continent !

Alanis can't become your Prez unless she first becomes a US Citizen (I know: she wasn't born there but then, neither was Ahnuld and he'll repeal whatever legislation he has to as well).

Face it: you're being over-run!

The start of my whole campaign involves Canada taking control of the sea, airspace and airport of St. Pierre and Miquelon. And to make things worse, we start drilling for ( and find ! ) lots of oil in the  200 mile economic zone of that state.

Threats from France send Canadian Patrol Class ships into the area, and the withdrawl of RCN units from the islands for security reasons.

French threats escalate then take a turn when the CDG is sent to the theatre. The Canadian Gov't deplore the French to recall her, but they refuse. Regretfully, the carrier CDG is sunk by Candian attack submarines mid Atlantic. One Rafale M falls into RCN hands when a French pilot is forced to land on the Cape Class Carrier HMCS Cape Spear. Force 17 had been shadowing the French task group since they left port.........

hehehe......

Yeah, just not NHL hockey and ice, eh?    <_<

BTW, the world's longest-ever single game of hockey is about to wrap up here in about one hour.  Playing it out at the nearby farm of a young man who lost both his wife and his dad to cancer.  Have raised nearly $100K so far...

Sorry Capt'n - I like your story, BUT, if Canada and France became entangled wouldn't that lead to internal Canadian problem's ?

I think that depends on whether or not, in that scenario, Quebec have made good on their threat to secede.  And supposing they did, I imagine their own paramilitaries would be tied up in the suppression of the Mohawk at Oka and Kanawake (my ex has kin up their, and I got to hear that whole sordid story a few years ago  ).

oh yes I do like your story captain. Just waiting for the next chapter.
Oh and if you need a place to unload the equipement before invading France in the final conflict, I can offer you the port of Antwerp. We'll talk about a suitable compensation in a private mail

Hehehe...you're on, Patrick !

And as for the French Canadian populous, they won't have a problem with it. The Canadian Gov't has been very kind to Quebec in the past decade, re-opening St. Hubert as a major RCAF station, as well as building a large Naval facility on the St. Lawrence.

Besides that Canadair are building fighters for us by the hundreds !

Build an underwater drilling station and steal the thing from them!

We don't really capture the place...life there goes on as they know it. We just need to know that nothing's going on there, as we plan our World Domination !

Security reasons, bro !

Great big guns as designed by Jerry Bull...capable of trans-atmosheric interception AND intercontinental ranges...as well as bveing dang near interception proof since the hardening required to be a artillery shell makes them impervious to Lasers, Masers, Particle Beams and kkv's....hehehehehehe

Well, I guess we'll just have to knock out those subs as well ! But I don't think they want to risk retalliation from the Yanks as well...........

I plan on using the SuperGun as well, Alvis ! But in a different role.......

Only thing's I know apart from the published material is that the Iraqi barrel was built and ready for shipping and that the base and gun laying equipment was also complete - I can't tell you the West Mids company involved as they were never mentioned in any press article I saw.

Seeing as Cappy now seems to have designs on becoming an Emperor, and Canadian World domination is imminent, I must re-ask the question I posed six months ago when all this was being threatened.
Are you bringing Bacon with you?
If so I will gladly subjicate myself to maple rule and am more than willing to offer my services as an advance west coast spy for the promise of some decent cured pig.

How America got to be the worlds greatest power with their ersatz, so-called "bacon" I'll never know.

Although I do dislike the term "Canadian bacon".  Its not canadian!  Its just proper bloody bacon like you get over here!

Hmmm, I sense a new poll here, smoked or unsmoked?  B)

Oh, and Todd, how about a piccie of HMCS Pouch Cove next to a nice bacon buttie?

I prefer the strips of bacon. Canadian bacon, or back bacon, is alright, but if you want a good greasy sandwich, you want strips.

Maybe I'll take a pic this weekend !
