Twin engine's..British camo..rockets..all nails hit ..beautiful build ..love it Paul..the Tigercat always looked boring in blue..now it looks the way it should.
Well done mate
Ohh I like that! ;D Trouble is I end up suffering from "idea overload" with seeing all these great builds from others!
Fantastic - that looks great! Nice weathering as well. Just a question: what are the two small yellow bombs?

Me too. The RAF colors & markings suit the Tigercat surprisingly well. Looks (even) sleeker than in standard allover blue or black?

Great idea, scheme and build!

Didn't RAF de Havilland Hornets go to Malaysia in pretty light colours?

Shhhh! Don't spoil a perfectly good back story.....
Makes me wonder about an RAF Tigercat with Centaurus engines...?
Wondrously wonderful!
Beautifully modelled - well done!
That is absolutely stunning, she looks so right! Congrats on a brilliant build!

If anyone can build it it's you, DF! I'd personally go with four-blade props a-la Tempest Mk.II.

If I'd had a pair I would have gone down that route!

The XF7F had spinners which gave it a bit of a Centaurus look. ;)
It'd need a whole slew of oil leaks underneath to do that properly................
If it was license-built by Fairey, maybe it might have had Bristol Centaurus engines?

The back story is great.
..... but why does everybody want to put a different RADIAL engine on it? What is wrong with a Griffon?
