Not sure if a rule for that has been written down.
In another case it was deemed that it is the time when the whif is posted here for the first time that counted. This seems to be drawn in 2014, though. I'm sure somebody more authoritative will chime in.

Gentlemen,

I clearly states that in order to be eligible for the whiffies, it has to be POSTED to the forum in the year of the contest.

So I would rule that this profile does indeed qualify for the 2023 whiffies.

Last night the Academy had an emergency session to drink a lot of whisky discuss this and I can now officially announce that the 2023 whiffies WILL feature a category "Best Real World Build". Eligible will be all builds and art that are meant to depict real world situations and are not obvious whifs. However there will be NO judging based on complete accuracy and number of rivets! The emphasis is on "meant to depict".
