Hi all.
Acquired a Italeri 1/72 Stuka with no decals.
Feels like a What-if coming on.
And trying to get imgbox to work...

Seconded!
Hmm, no decals, eh? Scottish & Irish, spring to mind; followed closely by Brazilian, Argentinian & Mexican; Japanese is another that arrives in the vacuum fairly quickly. ;)
Thank you very much for the warm welcome. Great to be here. I've been lurking here for ages, and hope to use this as an incentive to actually finish something. Love the creativity and flair that comes through this forum.
Bit of fun with the cockpit. Didn't take it too seriously as the canopy distorts things, but the Italeri kit is very bare in this area so a couple of things from the spares box added.
Irish or Scottish... very, very tempting, something South American also appeals with a more exotic camo.
Thanks again for the welcome.
Thanks also for patience and advice for posting pictures - is there a recommended size prior to linking, have been experimenting and they all seem too large?

Image size is a personal thing really, but a good idea that makes it easy for everyone to view is to make it fir the page just like the second and third pictures you have posted. And welcome to the show...

I've Argentine markings earmarked for one of my A models and the Special Hobby "in Foreign Service" boxing comes with Hungarian and Japanese markings. The IJA tested one in 1937 apparently.
Latin America is an ideal "playground" for a lot of these 1930's types
First image is slightly big (doesn't all fit on my screen in one shot), the latter two are good.
Lots of us old, half-blind buggers on here. ;)
I make all my images 640 pixels wide. This dates from an old forum I used to post to which had it as a rule.
I've just got used to doing it.
How about an African Stuka? Some nasty, brutal little bush war that was basically just an overgrown tribal conflict?
Thank you very much for your comments and advice - I really appreciate it.
Beginning to get my head around resizing images :-\
Zenrat's suggestion about an African Stuka reminded me that I have some Zotz (I think!) decals for central Africa in the stash somewhere... an idea beginning to emerge... dirty little Stuka for a dirty little African bush war somewhere... cockpit is probably going to need some red dust added!
Thank you again for all your help!

Almost certainly Zotz. They did a series of sheets by continent which covered most of the world. Very good and ideal if you build post WWII stuff
Welcome! :drink:
German Navy Torpedo aircraft with torpedo under fuselage and rockets under the wings also .........or Japanese markings dive bomber, German crews serving after the fall of Germany but Japan remaining superior in the Far East ...now there's a story
