This is the Kittyhawk 1:32nd Kingfisher. Painted with mixed Tamiya acrylics (as is my want) through an Iwata airbrush.
For various reasons the kit fought me all the way and Im glad to be done with it. :banghead: ( Gondor please note that the parts count is in excess of 6 )
That said it was a big project and I think builds into quite an impressive model.
Im sure there is scope for "Wiffery" it is to me such an interesting shape.

very nice Alan. I like the look of it :)
May have fought you mate but you definitely won. Lovely looking model in one of my favourite colour schemes
One of my fave seaplanes, the Kingfisher, and your model looks SUPERB Dork.
We have a couple of these being restored to fly in NZ so I was keen to get this kit, but based on what I've read I'd probably burn it before I got through the build. Bravo for persevering and achieving such a gorgeous finish.
It is a gorgeous finish. A lovely smooth satin.
Bravo!

Its certainly not a kit for the faint hearted . Put me off getting Kittyhawks Bronco.

I used Vallijiosomething or other acrylic straight from the bottle
