Ok, your a Connochaetes. ;)
Right the final paper work has arrived. We are down near the loading doors. IPMS Tyneside is next door to us.
We have 6 foot double depth, So the two models per member guideline will be in force. Unless we have a small turn out.

There goes the neighbourhood !!! ;)
Double depth is nice but the 6ft frontage means its going to be rather cramped behind the table as that could mean 4ft at the rear with space for about 2-3 SIG members plus the associated clutter of carrying boxes, food bags and of course stash acquisitions ;D. So make sure you wearing comfy shoes as most of us will be spending the day stood up or walking round.
Had an e-mail from Mike M today. He's coming and is staying at the Cambridge as a few of us are.
Strangely enough so am I, the Premier inn I used last year was fully booked out.

It looks like the "Head of Steam" will be doing a good trade. Looks like we'll have to stagger the breakfast to ,the cooking will be on a military scale with " us lot" all checked in. :drink:
Yes Breakfast might be busy!
As for Saturay night's menu, we might well go to the 'South American Slaughter house' again, or perhaps a curry is better...
Colin
Yup, plans need to be made.
I'm meeting with Steve in the Head of Steam as I get off the train  Then on to the hotel
Having spoken to Uncle Mike at Hanslope last weekend, he is up for joining us for drinks & food, But walking from the hotel into the town center would be out of the question for him.

Being serious for a moment.
We will need to co-ordinate timings etc nearer the date. Especially regarding Uncle Mike
true.
Wheres Mike staying. Has it got a bar,do they have taxis in Huddersfield? Surely something can be arranged.
My input; we network to meet at his hotel and have drink there if the bar doesnt serve decent Yorkshire ale then........ Taxi to Head of steam and taxi from there to the garden of death (other curry houses are available). Four in a taxi will share cost the rest use Shanks's to move from various venues. I take it we dont have a designated driver?................ off course not.................ill get me coat.
Have a great weekend in Huddersfield, chaps.

Just got back - good day and nice to see everyone.
Score was two sold, three bought, which might not seem like progress, but is a lot better than Bolton (none sold, eleven bought....)
LOST AND FOUND SECTION:
There was a lot of confusion due to various people's under-the-counter sales being crammed into a small space.
I've just got home to find a vac-form canopy at the bottom of my box. Not mine, don't know what it's off, don't know who's it is. Looks like it's from a tandem two-seater and it's about 55mm long. Please PM me if you know who's it is.

Looks like an Airmodel Meteor NF14 canopy.
Don't think so: the back end of the NF.14 canopy is a pure bubble, whereas this one has a distinct frame line near the back.
back home after a long drive down the M1 from the show.

(Dc-8)Guilty as charged m'lord. Its the old Revell kit that I acquired as a rebuild. Lumps bumps and conduits via the spares box.
Good show and a great time so thanks lads, especially Geoff for dropping me off at my hotel in Leeds  Tad crowded however so didn't get to see everything I wanted to, think they need to think of a larger venue ?
Photos will be downloaded, uploaded and posted sometime over the next couple of days.

There's a fine variety of fascinating flying machines here! Thank you for the pictures.
Is XP 305 an early contender for the first supersonic World Land Speed Record?

I love that early Hurricane! What's the story on that please?
tha's a hurricane with all the fabric bits painted humbrol authentics 'clear dope'. the engine arrangement was a
bit involved. inspired by the putnam book on hawker aircraft, i wondered what a halfway house between a
biplane Fury and a hurricane would look like, thinking it would have to be powered by a RR kestrel. orginally the
engine would have been the other way up, but it looked wrong. i pinched the engine from the revell He-70 kit.

I've had a few say that, stick some wheels on it and paint it blue! It's the Avro Z.101, a manned research version of Blue Steel. A real project with a fair bit of detail design done and would have been Britian's X-15. More details:
