Here's the new kit I just started.
The box:

There are 2 sprues with the main 'body parts':

3 sprues of additional parts:

1 sprue for the pilot figures:

A Haseg-quality instruction sheet (with a MaK flavor):

And a card with the variants proposed, 2 on each side:

It is interesting to note the the card is the 'card file' type with a tab on the edge, which shows that there should be more such cards in other Haseg kits to make up a file of them.
Detail are a bit of a letdown, especially for that scale. Being used to 1/72, I know of kits in that scale with more details. Nothing that the dedicated detailer can't remedy, however, but for sure there'll be work to do. Talking of which, let's buckle down!
M
Cool!
I started mine too, a couple of months ago. No topic yet, because I'm not quite sure yet what I'm going to do to it, although I've got some ideas and I even started sawing things off ;D
Are you going to build it out of the box?
Hey, another Falke modeler! I just love this kit!
What exactly do you mean OOB? Is there after-market around for this kit?
M
Thanks for the inbox look....there's a million bits and bobs in there eh ?! Nice !

I think the question should be: how much are you going to modify it? ;D
I've got one of these too - the version with the "Excimer" laser cannon. Not quite sure what to do with it yet - I might just go to town detailing and do a flashy custom paint scheme, or I might do something completely off the wall. 1:72 anti-grav gunship?
I've also got the 1:35 Lunadiver, which looks like a lot of fun too. ;D

To me the Falke is a nice piece of creativity as it is so I'll just stick to what's in the box. Of course, detailing is another matter. I always like to splurge on that. Perhaps open up some panels too. ;D
I personally prefer the gatling gun version of the Falke rather than the laser job. That's what I use for the Predator gunship too, you might have noticed. ;)
M
One thing is sure, 1/20 is not 1/72!

That's what I meant to say, yes ;-)
Nice, easy kit to build. The fun is, really, in the painting & finishing.
I have both versions & I, also, prefer the gatling gun variant. Point to note is that you can build both with the laser gun boxing, thus having either a spare BIG gatling gun or a neat part for kitbashing.
I'd post a pic or two of my not quite finished beast but I'm having trouble accessing Photobucket (probably my computer or my slow internet access).
Enjoy the build, Michel!

I had been wondering about that - I've not had a chance to dig the kit out and pore over the sprues as yet. I had hoped so, but then I'm not hugely familiar with Hasegawa's boxing strategy (ie whether they just add extra sprues like some manufacturers or remove unneeded parts like others do). Good to know either way.
Yep, the excimer Falke has got both weapons.
I'd love to see your build! Sticky Finger, Guy, bring it on!
M
OK, looks like I didn't take many photo's of this build - just a few of the cockpit. I'll have to take more when I get home but here are what I have for now;

PS: Sorry about the poor photography - not my forte, really.
Thanks for posting! This is a great looking pit. The seatbelts look extremely realistic. Where're they from? I also like the sockets on each side of the seat (oxygen?). How'd you do those?
M
O2 & g-suit were my thoughts, iirc.
Good question! I think it was a couple of pieces of string & a couple of bits of styrene tube, cut & painted as I felt appropriate :-\
I haven't actually looked at it for over 2 years, now  - I really should finish it & the carrier/launch vehicle I was going to build to display it on.
The harness is a combination of thin ribbon, hand-crafted styrene & foil parts.
Guy
Thank you, Guy. Just so you know, I'm an awful copycat and unless you threaten me with a copyright suit I'm going to incorporate these supply sockets into my build. ;D
As to the seatbelts this is what I ordered from Radu Brinzan:
Yeah, I know, it's Luftwaffe seatbelts. So? ;D ;D
M
Go for it!
If I can give people ideas or inspire them it's as big a thrill for me as making a great model. (Although, not quite as big a thrill as winning a Whiffie! ;D )
Nice belt unit & quite suitable for the ethos of the Germanic-influence sub-context of Ma.K.
I was going to buy a (Tamiya?) 1/20th F1 racing harness set but financial constraints at the time put a swift end to that idea.
Guy
Thank you, my friend!
Yeah, Mak has serious German connotations (after all its originator started with Luft 46 -- which proves beyond a doubt that soft drugs eventually lead to hard drugs ;D) but the Falke is supposed to be Merc rather than SDR. But hey, this is whatif, right? I'm going to have this pit done in RLM 66, purists to the contrary, and I'm still toying with the idea of adorning the bird with balkenkreuz. ;D
The Tam seatbelts would be a nice alternative. Perhaps a little on the flashy side... ;D
M
Yeah, well, you know pilots; they just love their bling! ;D

Has this Falke seen action? You bet! ;)
M
Oh my, looks metal
Looks great! Did you use the 'Salt-Technique' for that?
Thank you, guys! Glad you like it. And sorry for the lack of explanation. I usually do explain but this time I was in so much of a hurry I forgot to take pics! :o
No, it's not the salt technique. Did it with Maskol (Mr. Masking Sol from Gunze to be precise) applied with a sponge in two successive layers. I'll explain in more detail when I'll do the rest of the pit the same way.
M
I have to disagree with you on using that excellent set of seat belts. I think the contrast of the two would really set them off and be quite realistic as well. Great work so far on this.

Hi Father Ennis,
Which seatbelts are you referring to? The F1 belts from Tamiya or the Luftwaffe ones from Raud Brinzan?

M
I think he thinks you should use the Tamiya 1/20th scale belts.
Me? Although I don't know their scale, I think the Radu Brinzan belts are fine!
My 2nd Falke, by the way, is going the be a reconnaissance bird, with the Excimer laser cannon modified for the purpose. However, there is a Fledermaus build over on Beyond the Sprues which has got me thinking about doing it as a 2-seater in 1/48th scale!
Man, I wish I was at home & able to work on my models! :banghead:
Guy
I thought that's what he meant. Well, my Radu Brinzan Luft seatbelts just arrived in the mail today so Luft seatbelts it'll be!
Fledermaus? Gosh, I love that one!

We're in agreement, then. ;) I spent hours yesterday evening on assembling the little buggers and I'm not done yet! But the result will be worth it (I hope). :o
M
Fasten your seatbelts, here comes the RB Productions 1/24 Luftwaffe set!
You start with this:
And a couple evenings later you end up with this:
Impressive? You bet! Note the stiching, done with a tool provided by the maker.
The belts are glued with white glue. Same for attaching them to the seat.
Acrylic wash and Mig pigments to put the belts on the same level of disrepair as the seat and voila!

It was work but definitely worth it!
M
Sweet! They came up a treat, make mine look positively 2nd rate!
Guy
Thanks, but I think your belts are extremely well done and realistic considering that you scratched them. I chose ready-made, which is much lazier. Truth is that assembling the RB belts takes some work but the result is worth it. I think I'll continue to use them for my other MaK models.
M
Time for a little update.
I made some footrests from aluminum foil (thick) and strips of Evergreen.

Next the 'primer' color is sprayed (light gray) and then more Maskol is applied over a larger area this time (no pic). Then topcoat of RLM 66.

Final result:

The intermediate step and double masking make is possible to have a more varied chipping effect, alternating between areas that are worn down to the primer and smaller areas that go all the way down to the bare metal. Looks more real this way.

Thanks guys. I just don't know how soon. I'm spreading myself thin right now. Soon you'll see a new entry under 'aircraft'...

Made some progress on the pit.
Compressed air and other bottles are done.

I didn't like the controls' smooth texture. I wanted something that looked like the grip of a handgun. So I brushed them with liquid cement and pressed mesh into the softened up plastic.

This was followed by black paint, a light gray dry-brush and a rub of graphite powder.

The warning lights were done with food coloring stuff mixed into white glue.
The upholstery's pristine condition was too boring so I roughed it up a little! Aluminum foil is just the thing to make torn upholstery!

I scratched an emergency hatch release. The 'Emergency Pull' decal from Airscale was just the thing. And it's been pulled, as you can see. A Falke in trouble, oh my!

The nozzle's damage comes from a hard landing... LOL
M
It could easily have ended at "a few wires" bu-ut ...
I think someone got a touch of AMS ... or, perhaps, merely carried away in the moment. ;)
I saw one of these built up a few years ago on a diorama base with rare earth magnets built into the hull and the base set up so they repulsed. This made it hover about 3/8" above the base. It was tethered by a fuel line.
It was an awesome piece of work but I don't think it had this level of detail.
AMS? Me? Of course! My MD says there's no cure. :o
Zenrat, that's a cool one. Revell came out with a bunch of planes with magnets. Magic Flight, or something like that, they were called. I didn't think you could use the trick on a Falke, though, as the kit is pretty heavy. I've something else is mind for my own Falke but I intend to use the magnet trick for another build, not sure which yet.

$h!#! I'm positive I have some photo's of that but they're not on Photobucket or this lap-top.
Which means they're trapped on a PC at home, where I can't get to them! :banghead:
I'm pretty sure I saw it at model expo and that there was also an article in ModelArt Australia.

I know the model below

floating on a fuel line, but without any magnets.
I myself did something similar with a smaller model, "hanging" on a figure touching it with one hand. The stand in fact was a hidden structure from the model through the figure into the base made of a bicycle spoke.
The model shown is from the
Maschinenkrueger forum (http://maschinenkrueger.com/forum/).
Love the camo job on that.
I'll have to dig out all my old copies of ModelArt Australia and have a look for it.

Love the camo job on that.
The camo is based on the colours used by FAS (Salvadoran Air Force) for their Corsairs. This camo is usually connected with the "100-hours war" between Salvador and Honduras, but in fact the yellow bands and eventually the ochre colour were used postwar only, AFAIK.

WOH! :o
Looks pretty damned good for a Yakult bottle!
Note: Kow Yokoyama, the designer behind Ma.K, used a Yakult bottle as the framework around which the engine was constructed.
Once you know that, it's easy to see.
Thank you Old Wombat!
Yakult bottle, ping-pong balls and P-38 booms are the most recognizable items. The rest of what went into it I'm not sure. Lol

I believe there are parts of a car kit in there somewhere but I don't know what vehicle or what scale.

Oh my, oh my! Before anyone gets the wrong idea, I'm talking about the Peter Allen of AeroScale fame, code-named Flitzer. And that's the profiles I'm talking about:

Thank you . That's one very nice machine and will be on my New Year's build plans. I found the image by accident awhile ago and since then couldn't locate anything. lots of pictures to work with.
Do you have the kit?
M
I see there's one in 1/72 (unobtainable) so it'll be a 'creation' from available 1/48 sources. The problem really lies in finding suitable wings with sweep-back. I can picture the parts required in my head but the wings are causing a headache. The joy of whiffing (and this being a paper-design) means I don't have to be 100% loyal to the designs but I'd like to get close.

One of these days I'm going to seriously explore how far plasticard can go. I use it a lot for small patch ups etc but using thicker sections to create aerofoil ribs and thinner sections for skinning.... :-\ I've googled this but never had the courage to try it.

Laminate several pieces together then sand to the aerofoil section that you require rather than manufacturer like a real wing. Its tedious and can take a long time but it can provide you with a shape that you can't get hold of elsewhere.

I've done the 'course sanding' stage of such a wing using a razor plane from my model boating tools which works quite well. You can take off more material per stroke, a LOT more material usually. But don't be tempted to try too deep a cut, the plane can dig in and wreck all your plans.
Work on the exhausts.
I originally painted the inside of the upper and lower exhausts black and thought I'd leave it at that.
(https://www.whatifmodellers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1058.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Ft410%2Ftraceur813%2FFalke%2Fexhaust012.jpg&hash=d27e595173221c0090a156bd4d868ef44d68dcc2) (http://s1058.photobucket.com/user/traceur813/media/Falke/exhaust012.jpg.html)
Then I tackled the main exhaust, which is dismally bare, and decided I had to fill the empty space.

Liking this as always.
I'm starting to feel inadequate, now. :-\
Thanks guys!
Wanted to create some battle damage for my Falke. I used as a reference pics of tanks holed by anti-tank guns. I didn't go for the shredded look of mauled aircraft. After all, the Falke is an armored flying tank so I tried to replicate the pierced armor effect.
You can see in the pics the tools I used. Besides drill bit and diamond point I used a red hot needle to make the grooves of melted metal. I used a windproof lighter to heat the needle rather than a candle to avoid soot getting all over the place. Lastly I used some styrene melted with lacquer thinner (I always have a jar of it at the ready) to make the lip of melted metal around the hole.

Thank you guys! That baby is getting buttoned up as I write. And then we'll hit the paint booth and the real fun will begin!
I'd gone on a trip last week but now I'm back at the bench, which feels good!
That baby is all buttoned up now. Filling and sanding are next.

Yep, that's when the build starts to gain momentum.

Waiting.
Nothing very interesting happening over here. Just sanding. The somewhat complex shape makes smoothing the seams a lengthier process than usual. But I'm almost done now and priming should be next. Pics soon. ;)
M
Here is an update on the build, long overdue!
First lets backtrack a little, as before assembling the fuse parts I realized there was a visible gap behind the pilot seat.
(https://www.whatifmodellers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1058.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Ft410%2Ftraceur813%2FFirewall002.jpg&hash=57a7ef9e629c65ac47fe627a06d86bae79558586) (http://s1058.photobucket.com/user/traceur813/media/Firewall002.jpg.html)
So I made a firewall with some stock material.
(https://www.whatifmodellers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1058.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Ft410%2Ftraceur813%2FFirewall003.jpg&hash=5c78306090d358f754e104e60483025513c65417) (http://s1058.photobucket.com/user/traceur813/media/Firewall003.jpg.html)

Mucho buenitero!
After assembly came the tedious work of filling, sanding and re-scribing. Some of the kit's panel lines and rivets had to be entirely re-scribed as they were far too shallow.
(https://www.whatifmodellers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1058.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Ft410%2Ftraceur813%2Fassembly007_1.jpg&hash=ffb70b81dc5941b47da8008cf1690f89b9b1cc53) (http://s1058.photobucket.com/user/traceur813/media/assembly007_1.jpg.html)
For the big rivets I used a hypo needle cut straight with its edge filed to a sharp edge. Works like a charm.

Next came the last area in need of detailing: the inside of the hatch. I used the AirScale 1/24 "Cockpit Details" fret for the instruments, switches, etc. These have really nice details.

That's because that is precisely what they are. Have a look at the second half of this page (LINK! (http://www.maschinenkrueger.com/models/bk25_2.html)), which lists the parts Kow Yokoyama used for his original build in great detail. Most enlightening.
Never throw anything away. Ever.
Hah!
My kit part recognition skills still remain at a high level, I'm pleased to say. ;D

With the advent of indirect vision the Ma.K pilots could do away with clear canopies and replace them with heavily armored hatches, which offered plenty of space on the inside for instrumentation and controls. Overhead, just like in bombers and airliners.
On the modeling side, I wanted to make the inside of the open hatch a focal point that attracts the viewers attention to the cockpit detail. So I put on my greebler hat and went to work as detailed in the last post. Here's the final result after the painter came by.

Really looking forward to seeing this finished
Thank you both! It does somehow look organic, doesn't it? Kow Yokoyama's magic. The camo I have in mind will be appropriate, I think.
M
I got some preliminary steps done before laying down the camo.
First a metallic undercoat in view of the chipping effect in strategic areas: where pilot and maintenance crew step, along panel edges and especially on the antigrav pods which double as emergency landing gear. ;D
(https://www.whatifmodellers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1058.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Ft410%2Ftraceur813%2FFalke%2FPICT0001.jpg&hash=0d102eff6fade074e36be144c95eef7c3761328b) (http://s1058.photobucket.com/user/traceur813/media/Falke/PICT0001.jpg.html)
Next masking liquid applied in said areas.
(https://www.whatifmodellers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1058.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Ft410%2Ftraceur813%2FFalke%2FPICT0003.jpg&hash=c5000460b7d4d0b29b0b072bca57f0972e0e3cb5) (http://s1058.photobucket.com/user/traceur813/media/Falke/PICT0003.jpg.html)
Last step before the camo: pre-shading.
(https://www.whatifmodellers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1058.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Ft410%2Ftraceur813%2FFalke%2FPICT0005.jpg&hash=2604326d7e7f19fde9b14e27ffdcb8a79924baee) (http://s1058.photobucket.com/user/traceur813/media/Falke/PICT0005.jpg.html)

It took 2 evenings to lay down the underside color. It's rather carelessly done but that's because not much will be visible once the model is fixed to the base.

I used a 50/50 mix of Tan Yellow and Iraqui Sand
(https://www.whatifmodellers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1058.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Ft410%2Ftraceur813%2FFalke%2Fpainting011.jpg&hash=3830fd71664cdc685995752221475202aa956fda) (http://s1058.photobucket.com/user/traceur813/media/Falke/painting011.jpg.html)

I love the paint. Add a touch of yellow to the inside of the circles and it'll look like it has boils...
Thank you both. Well, if it looks like boils it must seem organic, which was the intended effect. I always wanted to do an "organic camo" and I'm happy with the result. I think I'll do more in the future.

Long time no update!
Decals are on.
(https://www.whatifmodellers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1058.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Ft410%2Ftraceur813%2FFalke%2Fdecals001.jpg&hash=c8b697ab16f5070e7aa5a0e0b464d2b80f463570) (http://s1058.photobucket.com/user/traceur813/media/Falke/decals001.jpg.html)
The decals are much too flashy, as you can see on the pic above so I weathered them a good deal.
First step: soften the decals with Micro Sol and sand them with 1500 grade sandpaper. This gives a randomly faded look. The difference can be seen between the weathered left side and untouched right side on the pic below.
(https://www.whatifmodellers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1058.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Ft410%2Ftraceur813%2FFalke%2Fdecals007.jpg&hash=b26cc660d648e2e45dd33eda440a208a4bcc533d) (http://s1058.photobucket.com/user/traceur813/media/Falke/decals007.jpg.html)
Second step: spray a light mist of the base color over the decals to further fade them and blend them in.
(https://www.whatifmodellers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1058.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Ft410%2Ftraceur813%2FFalke%2Fdecals010.jpg&hash=ffd412baf3716104c66e7ec612b951b616a69ad0) (http://s1058.photobucket.com/user/traceur813/media/Falke/decals010.jpg.html)

WOW! Been on a serious Dinosaur big game hunt, by the looks of it . Just love the matt finish.
Yeah, dino hunter-killer! LOL
This isn't the final finish, actually it's the pre-decal Future coat that somehow appears dulled on the pix. The final clear will be seriously matte and dusty.
M
Great job ! I too noticed the kill markings straight away....and I love all the weathering, especially where they enter and exit the machine.
Thanks Captain Canada!
Glad you guys like the kill markings. At the beginning I thought of making simplified outlines for the various types of vehicles in the Ma.K universe: hovering tanks, flying tanks, drones, fighting suits, etc. but it seemed like too much work to draw them myself so I took a shortcut and grabbed these dyno cartoons off the Internet to symbolize the various categories. ;D

I used an oil wash for the panel lines..
(https://www.whatifmodellers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1058.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Ft410%2Ftraceur813%2FFalke%2FFinal003.jpg&hash=33780dea93752f45ed3310183f987d7cf76f3e45) (http://s1058.photobucket.com/user/traceur813/media/Falke/Final003.jpg.html)
...and various oil filters to darken certain panels (thank Chukw for that technique!). I also used oils to make oil stains and grime, which is particularly workable after the flat coat.
(https://www.whatifmodellers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1058.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Ft410%2Ftraceur813%2FFalke%2FFinal001.jpg&hash=dda95e87e09bca4904d111007d133d23661c687a) (http://s1058.photobucket.com/user/traceur813/media/Falke/Final001.jpg.html)
Pastels were used to dirty the model further, sun-fade the upper surfaces, make smoke stains, etc.
(https://www.whatifmodellers.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1058.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Ft410%2Ftraceur813%2FFalke%2FFinal004.jpg&hash=47aaa27285ed3080ddd92cc909566bd3752cc340) (http://s1058.photobucket.com/user/traceur813/media/Falke/Final004.jpg.html)
The engine got some further weathering with brown oils to bring it in line with the rest of the model and make the overall look more consistent.

In addition to the oils I used AK Fuel Stains to make...well, fuel stains. The result looks OK, I guess.

Chipping was a major step in creating the beat-up, battle-weary look I wanted. Using different shades and tones of metal paint and working the areas over with pastels and oils helps make it look more realistic.

Those filter details were worth the effort, I think.

The fire damage and smoke stains are faithfully reproduced from pics of a real shot-down Falke. ;D

My personal fave in this build: the inside of the hatch cover.

Thanks to the big opening the inside of the pit is quite visible.

Front view. Love the rough, tough and mean look.

That's it with the Falke. Now on to something else. Thanks for following along!
Cheers!
M
Yep! Officially awed!
That cockpit lid is outstanding.
I'm very seldom at a loss for words but this is just
Thank you, Old Wombat and NARSES2, for the nice words and for following along!
M
Thankyou for putting your builds here
A stunning achievement all round, very inspirational too. Sci-Fi allows such a wonderful scope for the imagination. Thanks for sharing .
My favourite is the ringed camo.
NARSES2, thanks for giving me a place to put them! ;)
Librarian, thanks a lot. That camo is courtesy of Peter Allen (no, not THAT Peter Allen, please don't post that pic again! LOL) as far as the inspiration is concerned and straight out of Luft 46.
M
Wow...how did this one get even better ? Great job. Love how realistic it looks.
Brilliant.
Well done.
What's next then?

Flabber now most definitely gasted.
All that is missing:

;D
Congrats, Michel . Very cool result. I can only hope my Falke will turn out this nice. One day.
Thanks, Sticky Fingers!
That comic book yours? :o Lucky you! Got none of them Japanese Ma.K comics on my bookshelf. :-\
M
Fantastic work again Michel.   Yet another modelling masterclass!
Already looking forward to your next project.
It's from this one:

After the flag pops out of the cockpit (pilot long gone after the crash) the Kröte shoots the Falke to bits.
No sense of humour, those pesky Strahl people.

Thanks for the link. I always wondered if those were worth the money. Especially considering that my Japanese vocabulary includes sushi and Yamamoto and not much else. What say you?
M
All of those books are i.m.o. worth their money. That said, I bought most of them second hand ;)
But the one I linked to is great for diorama inspiration and gives you a "feel" for how the suits might move, and the modelling books, especially the first one is great for understanding how Kow works, and that's only from the photo's, as my Japanese vocabulair only includes sayonara, plamo and moshi-moshi. And now sushi and yamamoto. The other books are just plain eye candy
By the way: if I recall correctly, on the maschinenkrueger forum you can find translations for some of the more well known books and articles.

Thank you, my friend. A personal recommendation is worth a lot more than any reviews, ads and descriptions. I think I will invest in some of this stuff in the future. I like books and comics anyway.
True about the translation on the maschinenkrueger site, I remember having seen it at one time.
Thanks again for your input!

I need some help from you guys with the following: I'm looking for pic of a historical map of Africa, preferably the entire continent, showing the territories controlled by the Axis and the Allies. The exact date doesn't matter, any time during the conflict.
I've been googling but astonishingly enough there's very little to be found.
Yes, this has something to do with the Falke's build! ;)
M
Maybe this is useful:
http://www.yadvashem.org/yv/en/education/newsletter/25/images/mapb.jpg
This is roughly the state of Africa between wars:
http://www.wwnorton.com/college/history/ralph/ralimage/map30iaf.jpg
As you can see: no German colonies as they were all taken away with the Treaty of Versailles.
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Thanks, Sticky Fingers.
M
  Very nice!!
Thank you, su27rules!

I made a (temporary) display base by photoshoping some military symbols and stuff onto a desert map ripped off Google and gluing it onto an MDF job from the LHS.

Excellent stuff Michel, well done.
ANOTHER magnificent production........and a well deserved gold
Well done Michel, thoroughly deserved
Congrats ! I;m sure the judges and the regular pundits really enjoyed looking over this one.
Thanks fellas!
I had invited a non-modeling friend to come to the show and award ceremony. My friend knew through FB that a schoolmate of his was involved with modeling so he set out looking for him among the hundreds of people present. Given that he hadn't seen the guy for the last 35 years and only had FB pics to go by it wasn't an easy task. But he did locate him and rather easily too as the guy wore a T-shirt with the letters "IPMS" and his name underneath! He was a member of the staff and not only that, he turned out to be one of the judges who judged my model. I got to know that he gave me 95 out of 100. Small world!
M
Congratulations, Michel!
A great build, an inspired display & deserving winner!
Thanks Old Wombat!
