Title: US world war two bomber what if's
Post by: starship1 on May 08, 2013, 04:17:49 PM
Sometime back I saw a pair of drawings for two US bombers(they may have been on this site). One was a twin engine, the other was a four engined design.  Both were from the same company, both had a twin fin tail.  Neither were adapted.  But I have been trying to find some information on both.  If any body here has any info, I'd be greatly appreciative.

You may be thinking of the Martin XB-33/33A projects:

Love the -33A. Well, except for that uglt tail configuration. Maybe I'd warm up to it if somebody were to build one....

Those are the planes.  For some reason I thought they were a Consolidated design.  Which is the reason I couldn't find them.
