As part of Duelling Paintbrushes 2: Mexican Paintoff, I have decided to build myself a Rat Tank. From a Vulcan 1/35 Vickers light tank MK. VI. And doom wheel parts. And a generous sprinkle of Warpstone.
Pics when they exist.
Got a start in on the rat tank. It'd be a lot quicker if the suspension didn't use real springs...
Anyway, now that that's done things should speed up.
Hopefully.
Have a picture anyway.

Heh - like it.
Those 30s/early WWII tanks and AFVs are very Warhammer/Orc-tech arn't they?
Boxy.. just how Grot would like it.
gotta love the spikey doovers at the front
Been workin on adding the warpstone reactor to the back...
Wicked!
"Mommy? I don't want to outside to play where such wicked tanks are"!
I think as a (former) Infantry squad leader I would call for the anti-tank people and form a hasty advance to the rear when seeing any of these wicked things coming! :o
Fortunatley for Clan Skitterklaw, Warhammer Fantasy does not feature any specialised anti-tank weapons.
Unfortunately, it counts as a doomwheel, and there are plenty of things which can deal with that.
Progress on the rat tank!
It's got semi-individual track links, which is good because it's not as insanely fiddly as individual. Plus I only managed to loose one small section, so it's got ALMOST complete tracks!

WAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHnderful!
My dear doctor, I believe you are confusing your savage tribes; it is the Orcs of the old world who say 'Waaaagh!' while the loathsome rat men and their vile kind are known to utter such phrases as 'yes-yes' and 'die-die' or 'cunning-smart rat-thing!'
I refer you, of course, to the seminal work 'Loathsome Rat men I Have Know' by Albrecht of Nuln, published in the imperial year 2106.
can i get shaped charge heads for my eagle claw bolt throwers if that things comeing anywhere near me please.
ace looking though, utterly ace looking
Should be able to start painting the rat tank tomorrow. Just a few minor detailing tweaks in the morning...

How cool.
Undcoated this morning, painting this arvo.
Just so very strange....as in why didn't I think of that strange!
Need some rat tank driver figures.....
Dear Wrestler,
You are, of course, correct-it IS the Ork who go 'Waugh' and not the perfidious Skaven. ( Though
I do remember a particular member of that tribe with a peculiar fascination for...well, nevermind. Certainly
not on a family site. )
Go to, old man!
