I think this is where I post this? :banghead: I mean there is the wooden one but I really dont wont to spend U.S. 200.00 for the thing and rip it up to scratch a cockpit. So is there anybody who makes one, or will?
Thanks, Joshua
Possibly someone like Special Hobby? But in 1:48 that's going to be a big model, and therefore expensive.
Cool do they have a website? :-\
Rumour has it that Trumpeter are going to be doing a 1/35 UH-34 and Dauphin so you never know. ;)

I seen that but I am not that skilled and to not have that much time.
Trumpeter did a 1/48th Dauphin back in 2000 -- I have the USCG version.
Agree that a 48th Skycrane would be nice .. but only if they did the fire-bomber version too.

Yeah I like the helicopter transport service one I wonder if we can convice revell or tamiya to do one. ;D
Gordon Bennett! :o
That scratchbuilt one was AMAZING! But surely it would have been easier to build a real one? ;D
HOLY COW! That's some building. I just can't do that kind of work. On some models I've wanted and no kits are available, I've done as mentioned earlier, just gotten a display model and added some detail.
I like how he used a Sea King front end, never thought of that, cool build.
That hook is a piece of work just on its own.
I know i didn't think that would work either!

Removed foot from my mouth. frustration directed at the decals themselves, not their user- to be sure. In the Ariz dryness, even decals under clear flat silvered and crumbled... :-X

And the windows from plastic bottles! Recycling at its best.
I'm sure that there is a MH-53 kit in 1/48 scale that could be whiffed. I'm building the Revell 1/72 kit.
